Our Team

Ms. Prachi Salve

Director

She is a social sector professional with over 12 years of experience in social policy research, public engagement, and community development. She has expertise in women’s empowerment, access to public entitlements, health, sanitation, and environmental sustainability, with a focus on marginalized communities.

Prachi has led Gender Budgeting and Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribe Budget Analysis initiatives, authored research and policy reports, and trained grassroots leaders, community organizations, and civil society networks on awareness, policy engagement, and leadership development.

Dr. Niraj Waghmare

Director

Dr. Niraj Waghmare is a social leader with over 20 years of experience in community development, working to improve civic amenities, empower youth, and strengthen public participation.

He has pioneered several community service initiatives offered entirely as public service such as Waste Collection Vans, drainage system upgrades, Smruti Rath (free last rites facility), ambulance services for marginalised communities, and a Shavpethi (mortuary freezer) for public use. His efforts also include promoting women’s health, hygiene, and empowerment. Honoured with an honorary doctorate by the Nelson Mandela Peace Award, Dr. Waghmare continues to advance inclusive, sustainable, and community-led change.

Mr. Abhijit Jagtap,HR Advisor, Equera brings over 14 years of experience in human-cantered HR, learning & development, and counselling. He is passionate about creating inclusive, compassionate workplaces that prioritize employee well-being and engagement.

At Equera, he focuses on breaking the stigma around mental health, promoting open conversations, and embedding a culture of care and inclusivity.

His approach strengthens organizational growth while ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
